Seventh Year of Partnership with Trussell

As we enter our seventh year of partnership with Trussell, it feels fitting to reflect on the impact that collective action and community support can have.

Trussell is an anti-poverty charity and community of food banks. Trussel is working toward ensuring no one in the UK needs a food bank to survive. With 1,400+ food bank locations and 36,000 volunteers, the scale of their work is extraordinary.

People need to use food banks because they don’t have enough money for the essentials and have run out of options. Between March 2024 and April 2025, food banks in the Trussell community provided 2.9 million emergency food parcels.

We’re proud to play our part - donating funds, time and space during our 7 years of partnership.

Over the course of our 7-year partnership, we’ve:

  • Donated over £630,000 to support Trussell and its food banks

  • Provided space across our shopping centres for food collections, resulting in 17.5 tonnes of food donations for local communities

  • Supported awareness campaigns across our digital screens and in-centre activity

  • Provided storage space when food banks needed additional capacity

  • Contributed 600+ volunteer hours from our team

  • Supported Trussell's policy work, with members of EXCO, including @Emma Mackenzie, Head of ESG, contributing to campaigns such as ‘Guarantee the Essentials’ and engaging MPs on universal credit policy

Long-term partnerships grounded in shared values deliver real, measurable change.

We’re proud of what’s been achieved together, and we look forward to building on this impact.
