Our People & Culture

Introduction from our Chief Operating & People Officer

At NewRiver we know that the success of the company comes from the people within our team.

Since our formation in 2009 we have worked hard to create a collaborative culture for our employees that promotes teamwork, personal development and long-term career fulfilment within a friendly and supportive working environment.

As Chief Operating & People Officer, I am proud of the collegiate and mutually supportive culture we have fostered here at NewRiver. We have high staff retention and a reputation for attracting talented and ambitious new joiners and see our greatest achievements in enabling our team to unlock their full potential. As a company, we are passionate about what we do and the sector we operate in, and we are pleased to say that NewRiver has a reputation in the industry for being a great place to work.

We have a wealth of benefits that underpin all of this and we continue to strive to improve these year on year.

We are committed to ensuring our policies enable all our staff to choose what is best for them, particularly in offering enhanced shared parental leave and more recently, flexible working, with 3 days in the office and the ability to work two days from home. I have been a working mother throughout my entire career and know how valuable a flexible and understanding employer can be. As an employer, having a talented team who feel their work/life balance is respected ensures loyalty and commitment.
