Training & Development

We are committed to developing the skills,

capability and performance of all employees.

We provide employees with the opportunity to develop themselves and progress in their careers. Our support ranges from funding professional qualifications including RICS and ACCA to informal weekly training sessions and talks over a healthy breakfast once a month from industry experts on a wide range of topics.

During the course of FY22 100 % of our team received training. In addition, all employees benefit from a tailored performance review and professional development plan, which allows them to measure their progress and fulfil their potential.

Internal talent development is an important focus for NewRiver, seeking to nurture individuals and ensure that we as a company can meet their long term career goals. This doesn’t just include promotion into more senior roles but has included opportunities for employees to change teams within the company enabling them to take on new challenges and flex their skills in other areas of the business.

Opportunities for All

We celebrate diversity and inclusion and are working to ensure that there are career opportunities within NewRiver for all. We hope increasingly that applicants from all backgrounds feel able and comfortable to pursue a career in property and at NewRiver.

We are a founding member of the Academy of Real Assets which seeks to help students from the most deprived areas in the UK gain insight in the Real Estate world and all that it can offer.

Apprenticeships

We offer apprenticeships in various areas of our business to attract candidates who may prefer a non graduate route to a career in NewRiver.  We are delighted with our success in this area and will continue to offer opportunities at recruitment for apprentice level entries where we can.
