As part of International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating the talented people across our team and the different paths that bring them into our industry.

This year’s theme is #GivetoGain which highlights opportunity, mentorship and development — and how investing in people creates lasting impact.

One such pathway is that of Megan Ruffell, who joined NewRiver REIT through our Apprenticeship Scheme in 2017. Megan transitioned from a business administration role into real estate, gaining hands-on experience while completing her Associate RICS qualification, and is now building her career as an Asset Manager. Megan's tenacity, talent and good humour make her a valued member of our team.

While we’re proud to celebrate the achievements of women across our business for #IWD, our commitment to developing talent extends across the whole team. This includes Nathan Clark, who also joined us through the apprentice pathway, progressing into accounting while working towards his ACCA qualification.

At NewRiver REIT, we know that the success of the business comes from the people within in it. We’re excited to share Megan’s story today and to continue supporting pathways into the industry for talented individuals.
